As a Support Worker at Shalom, you will provide person-centred care and support to adults with learning disabilities, dementia, and elderly individuals in their own homes and in the community. You will assist with personal care, meal preparation, medication prompting, and community access, working collaboratively with social workers, GPs, and other professionals.
The Senior Support Worker will lead a small team of support workers, providing guidance, mentoring, and on-the-ground supervision. You will also carry a personal caseload, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support is delivered consistently. You will liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and the local authority on behalf of the individuals we support.
The Care Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of Shalom's care services, ensuring compliance with Care Inspectorate standards and Scottish Government regulations. You will manage a team of support workers, lead on care planning and reviews, and build strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, and health professionals.
The Admin Worker will provide essential administrative support to the Shalom team, including managing correspondence, maintaining records, scheduling appointments, processing referrals, and supporting the management team with day-to-day office tasks.
