The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care company, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The role includes managing staff, overseeing budgets and resources, driving business performance, supporting service development, and fostering a positive culture that promotes excellent care, safety, and continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree in Health and Social Care, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in a management role within the health and social care sector.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards governing care services.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in staff recruitment, supervision, performance management, and development.
  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and care management systems.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
